Untouched nature and friendly people

VMD has specialized for tailor made programmes for international travelers who want to visit Croatia and experience it in a special way.

Croatia is a small country in which you find yourself. Think about it: in Croatia there are eight national parks and ten nature parks. In Croatia nature is vast, untouched and unpolluted; its flora is diverse and its fauna abundant. If you go to the Gorski Kotar region, you can see bears and wildcats, if you go to the Lonsko Polje wetlands you can see storks, if you cautiously descend the northern face of Medvednica Mountain you can see wild pigs, and if you visit the Velebit massif, you can see the Velebit Botanical Gardens. Don’t settle for looking at the brown bear and Velebit degenia (an endemic flower) on Croatian coins, go out into the wilderness and look for the real thing. And perhaps you’ll even catch a glimpse of your first real marten – or kuna, as Croatia’s currency is known.

Parks of Nature in Croatia
Visit the turquoise waters of Plitvička jezera, walk along the Paklenica Canyon, enjoy the waterfalls of Krka, sail by ship along the Zrmanja canyon and visit Velebit.

Cres and Lošinj - islands of the Croatian Adriatic
Visit the islands where in its clear waters good dolphins live and play, enjoy the mild Mediterranean climate and mountain-climbing, sail in boats, relax in the sea, the sun, the green forests of the islands.

Plitvice lakes
Plitvice national park (NP) is the oldest and the most famous NP in Croatia and one of the most beautiful natural sights in Europe! On our visit we will walk along all the 16 lakes, drive with the panoramic boat, visit the Great Waterfall and see ourselves why has UNESCO enlisted this exciting, rare and unique pearl of nature on the WORLD NATURAL HERITAGE LIST.
